Bought this at my favorite local SF wine shop, based on the staff endorsement, not to mention the Parker and Tanzer endorsements -- and the thing's a dud! Even at that price point! Thin, uninteresting, and devoid of anything but a kind of acidic, curranty, cherry flatness. A couple bucks more gets you the Ball Buster (shiraz/cab/merlot, instead of shiraz/cab/malbec) -- the same Tanzer rating, a higher Parker rating, and a much higher Me rating. Totally agree.
