I haven’t had the opportunity to use this service yet (we have lots of family nearby that steps in when we need them), but I wanted to let you about an upcoming promotion. This coming weekend (November 6-8), www.care.com is open for a FREE weekend of access! This is only the second time they’ve done this. It’s to raise awareness for National Family Caregiver Month while also giving families the chance to meet great local care providers and screen lists of backup caregivers.
During the coming Free Weekend, all visitors to Care.com will get to experience the benefits of a premium membership. Families can see full profiles for nearby care providers, contact them directly to set up interviews, check references, and request background checks for free!
Care.com services are available in cities all across the USA. I typed in my zip code and quite a few qualified people popped up all over San Diego that had positive ratings from other parents. If you need child care every once in a while, you might want to try Care.com out this weekend!
