For our trip, I downloaded a series of iPhone Apps that I’ve read or been told about. Bubbles, so far, has been the clear winner. I paid $.99 for it. Some websites say it’s free, but it’s not anymore. Definitely worth the $$$ for the distraction. Whenever La Jolla Girl is about to get fussy, I bust it out. Problem solved.
Basically how it works is the iPhone screen is black. You then create streams of bubbles by dragging your finger across the screen or make individual bubbles by tapping it. Then you can pop all the bubbles with your finger before they disappear. It’s very easy for La Jolla Girl to play. The post photo is of the actual App.
The downside is that my iPhone screen is now pretty gross. She’s playing Bubbles as I type this. I’ve got about 10 more Apps that I’m not sure she likes yet. We haven’t made it past Bubbles.

My kids LOVE that one on my hubby;s phone. I haven’t moved into the realm of the iPhone yet, but I may have to soon to support my Twitter habit. (Twitbit? I’m sure there’s already a word for it). Hope you had a great trip. Let’s schedule a meet up soon.

That looks like a good one! My 2 year old loves the Wheels on the Bus app. There is one scene with a few bubbles to pop so your little one might enjoy that one, too.

That looks like a great one! My two would love it. I can’t believe all the stuff they have come up with for the iPhone. Amazing.

Have you tried NeuroMobile yet. It’s been a great help to me . I’m a stay-at-home Mom with 3 kids.
I love the apps that are made for toddlers, I have fun playing with them when I need to unwind and clear my head from all the stress of the day. This one looks like fun, like my bubble-wrap one I have. I don’t mind buying 99c apps either. You get a lot for that money.
Thanks for the review (and yea, my iPhone looks gross, too).
