When I saw this on sale at BevMo, I had to buy it. I’ve been meaning too try these wines anyway, because if I can save the world while drinking wine, why would I NOT do that?
50% of proceeds are donated to partner charities. One Hope originally began their focus on Breast Cancer, Autism and AIDS but have since branched outward to the environment and helping military families. The Sauvignon Blanc benefits the environment, hence the green ribbon on the bottle. You’ll be able to recognize which ribbon benefits which cause by the ribbon color. One Hope will plant a tree for every bottle of Sauvignon Blanc purchased.
Winemakers Notes: “Flavors: Aromas of fresh honeydew and citrus fruits with fruit and aromatic flavors
Body: Medium and crisp with a smooth finish
Pairs With: Fish, like salmon and halibut, light pasta dishes and fresh fruits and cheeses”
It’s honestly a perfectly pleasant Sauvignon Blanc. Think about how cool it would look at a party to have these wines on the table with all their different ribbons. It certainly would be a conversation piece and you could feel good about the purchase.
Rating:
I admit that it gets boost in ratings due to it’s charitable aspect, plus I love Sauvignon Blanc in general. I’m perfectly happy drinking this wine at the sale price and have already purchased more. Full price makes me hesitate a little though I would buy it, just maybe not in quite the same volume. These wines seem to be constantly on sale at VONS too, though I didn’t see the Sauvignon Blanc. Try them – I’ll review them all eventually.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I am visiting you back from MBC. I really like the professional look of your blog. I have been researching Thesis and thinking of changing to that template. Did you create yours by yourself?
Ok, I’m going to remember this for my next hostess gift!
How fun.
