I love handbags. My problem is that I have a hard time branching out from my standard luxury staples. I also don’t rotate them as much as I should. Or match handbags to outfits. I lack variety too, probably because I should be looking at more affordable luxury handbags.
Who doesn’t love a nice handbag? A brand called Rough Roses was recently brought to my attention. It sounded familiar so I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it around, as I’ve been eyeing similar style bags lately. Celebrities like Lauren Conrad, Brittany Spears, Kara Dioguardi and more have been photographed with Rough Roses. My next handbag is going to be something like the bag in the post photo. Hobo style and it looks comfortable to hold. It’s the Angelina Studded and Woven Handbag. It retails for $295.
I also like this Jewel Double Lock Satchel. It retails for $355. I think both of these handbags would look fabulous with t-shirts and jeans or even if you were headed out for a night on the town. I always look for that with a handbag. Rough Roses is based in Los Angeles and also makes wallets, apparel and belts. The leather is premium quality.
Speaking of belts, I’ve never had the confidence to pull off big chunky belts, but admire the look and put it on my to do list. I love this one. I can imagine it over some kind of sweater dress or similar. Like long sleeved with a cowl neck, tights and boots. Really cool boots. It’s $95.
