It’s no secret that our public schools rely heavily on fundraising. A San Diego-based company called donornation has launched a platform that enables parents and small businesses to help schools fundraise by buying and selling products, services and gently used items–with a percentage of the proceeds supporting local public schools.
donornation is live in San Diego right now (with La Jolla public schools as beneficiaries, too), but will launch in other markets next year. Keep reading and get your smart phone ready as donornation will donate $1 to your school of choice by scanning the QR code below.
The Scan To Support Campaign—Earn Your School $1
This truck drove by my house the other day. I got out my phone, scanned the QR code, punched in the zip code of the public school I wanted the donation to go to, selected the school, entered my email address and was done in about a minute (or less). Once I checked my email, I confirmed the donation and that was it (you may opt in to donornation here or not). It’s very simple. These mobile billboards are driving around San Diego County. If you see one around, scan it because every dollar counts!
However, you can also scan the QR code below RIGHT NOW and donornation will donate $1 to the San Diego public school of your choice!
Scan to Support
Like I said above, every dollar counts! Have a look at donornation online and see if it’s a good fit for you and your school. Pass this post along so that other parents and supporters may donate $1 to their favorite school!
*Thanks to donornation for sponsoring this post. I look forward to using their marketplace.
