Coastal Living Magazine Names La Jolla As A Happy Seaside Town–Except, We Need Votes To Win

Coastal Living revealed its second annual list of “America’s Happiest Seaside Towns,” an exclusive roundup of the happiest places to live along the coasts of the United States. Readers will determine the winner. I am a fan of the publication and tore out numerous pages to reference during my home renovation. However, as I’m typing this, La Jolla has the least number of votes. Let’s fix that.

Rally around your favorite seaside town or vacation destination and vote hourly from January 10 to February 28 on coastalliving.com/happytowns2013 or via smartphone by downloading the free Digimarc Discover app and scanning the image of your town of choice in the February 2013 issue.

Coastal Living will reveal local hot spots and top travel tips along with its ranked list of “America’s Happiest Seaside Towns” in the June 2013 issue, on newsstands May 17.

Why Bother To Vote?

Though I’m usually not a fan of popularity contests, winning America’s Happiest Seaside Town in a well-read publication such as Coastal Living is good for the community, especially the merchants. You can also tweet or Facebook your vote, to let friends and followers know how awesome La Jolla is.
