Giveaway: Hot Dog On A Stick Party Pack + Lemonade

Hear me out. I wasn’t initially sold on this party pack idea for our Super Bowl party. Unless it’s a hamburger and hot dog-style barbecue, we usually have adult food and kid food. We had a small Super Bowl party over the weekend but weren’t in a position to go gourmet. My husband also wanted the party to focus on the game–no barbecuing, no fuss in the kitchen, and no hassle. But he had an idea that kids weren’t going to go for, so I needed to find food for them.

Enter Hot Dog On a Stick party packs. The more we thought about it, the more we realized what a great solution this is, especially for our purposes. Hot Dog on a Stick has been an American icon since 1946 and is owned and operated by its employees.

My initial concern was about reheating the dogs. Would they still taste good? Yes, they did. The party pack comes with easy heating directions so you can pick up your pack of hot dogs earlier in the day than you need to. Our closest Hot Dog On a Stick is at Fashion Valley mall, where I need to go over the weekend anyway. Though did you know that Hot Dog on a Stick is based in Carlsbad?

What The Party Pack Includes

The party pack includes 25 dogs. However, I had no idea that Hot Dog on a Stick has vegetarian options. On sticks, you can order a mix of turkey dogs, veggie dogs, American cheese dogs and slightly spicy Jack cheese and jalapeno dogs. They provide cute logo tubs to eat your corn dog from, packets of ketchup and mustard, and napkins. You may also order regular beef hot dogs on buns.

I have to tell you that the cheese dogs are like a new twist on grilled cheese. The cheese is on a stick and cooked to golden perfection after being dipped in their special Party Batter. They are so good. Also, the regular corn dog is a high-quality turkey dog, not beef, so you can feel less guilty about the nutritional value.

Add a gallon or two of lemonade on to your order. It comes in a cardboard carry case with cups, lids and straws. Choose from lime, cherry, sugar-free and original. Did you know that it’s made fresh every two hours?

I’d definitely use this party pack for my daughters 9th birthday in March. She opted for a more expensive gift but I always do something the day of the kids birthdays (cake and decorate) and with this, I would let her invite a couple of her friends over afterschool to help her celebrate the day of.

I just might use these for a family dinner and invite over the whole family (grandparents, cousins, etc), then we could watch family videos and play games. Just a good old family fun night!

I would use it for a meet-up with my mama’s group, or for an upcoming family birthday party! So cool about the vegetarian options, since I’m a veggie.

Can I suggest a ‘just because I love them hot dogs on a stick’ party? I probably shouldn’t eat them all myself, so I will have to have a Sunday dinner for all the kids and grandkids and share.
