Everyone likes to have a glass of wine or two with friends. Twitter has taken this concept to a new level. I’ve had the pleasure of participating in several Twitter tastings and they’re actually quite fun. However, more often than not, they are invite only or you have to hunt down the wines for the tasting.  Wine Twits has changed that up. I receive quite a bit of wine in the mail between this site and my normal winery subscriptions. The Mommy’s Time Out 2009 Garganega Pinot Grigio is the only one that has ever arrived wrapped in a pretty satin bag, with ribbon and hand written card attached.  Loved that. It would be great paired [...]

I know what you’re thinking – it’s a celebrity wine so it can’t be good.   Withhold judgement, dear reader. Manilow Wines debuted in 2005 when Mr. Manilow started his residency at the Las Vegas Hilton.  The wines were originally created for sale in the hotel and sourced from various wineries in California.  Due to the press received, Mr. Manilow and his staff believed that they could produce wine on a larger scale and use the proceeds [...]
