I have to tell you that once I saw this wine at Costco, I was intrigued. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a wine from Israel. I paid $19.99. I also wrote a short post about Israeli wines today. We decided to try another Montgras Wine since we like their Carmenere so much. This we also bought at Bevmo and it got the same 93 rating by Wilfred Wong as the Atrocedro I reviewed last week. This is a blend of 4 grapes, hence the “Quatro” and it was $13.99. Winemakers notes: “A blend of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Malbec, 25% Syrah and 15% Carmenere. Deep ruby, shading to purple.
