The first thing I noticed about Charity Case Sauvignon Blanc 2009 was the pretty golden color.  I almost thought it was a Riesling.   Also, the label told me that there is more to this bottle than a good wine. I bought this wine at Costco and I believe I paid around $7.99 for it. I had heard of it before because I read it received a 90 rating by Wine Spectator which, to me, is a pretty reliable indicator that it’s good. But it’s even better at that bargain price.
