Munchkin’s New Line of Baby Gates (Giveaway)

A Munchkin baby gate separated our kitchen and living room when La Jolla Girl was a baby. I could not have maintained my sanity without it.  MojoPages even has baby gates in the office to keep the office dogs from running out.

Munchkin has launched a new modern line of safety gates.  I love the Numi Dark Wood option.  Here’s what you need to know about Munchkin safety gates:

  • Munchkin safety gates are built to the highest quality standards and rigorously tested to meet or exceed both U.S. and European safety standards.
  • Munchkin infant safety gates are aesthetically pleasing and come in a wide range of measurements, price points, styles and mounting types.
  • Munchkin has a gate selector tool.   Input the width of your doorway and it will suggest gates that will work for you.

For more information please visit www.infantgates.com.

Munchkin is currently running a contest called “Protect Your Baby’s Every Move” on their Facebook page.   They’ll select a weekly Facebook winner (from Feb. 15 – May 15) to win a safety gate and $50 gift card to redo their nursery. One grand-prize winner will also receive a nursery set from Munchkin (valued at $530) and a $250 American Express gift card to help with their design. A second winner will receive a $250 American Express gift card to help decorate their child’s room. To enter, upload a funny picture or video of your baby taking first steps, dancing or just moving around.

Giveaway:

Munchkin is providing one La Jolla Mom reader an Easy Close Safety Gate AND a $50 American Express Gift Card to help with nursery design.

To enter: Leave a comment telling me what you’d use this baby gate for. Is your baby a mover or is it just for peace of mind? Or perhaps you need it for a pet or as gift for a new mom?

After the initial entry, you qualify for these bonus entries. Be sure to leave a separate comment for each bonus entry:
1. Like La Jolla Mom on Facebook (or use thumbs up in sidebar)
2. Like Munchkin on Facebook
3. Subscribe to La Jolla Mom via RSS or email.
4. Tweet about this giveaway. You can use the green Tweet Meme button at the bottom of the post or cut and paste this – @lajollamom is giving away a @Munchkin_Inc baby gate and $50 AMEX card! http://bit.ly/gn1n1k

Don’t forget to leave a separate comment for each bonus entry. Comments will be closed at 8pm PST on Friday, March 4. The winner is chosen by Random.org so the more entries you have, the higher your chances of winning are.  You must be a US resident and 18 years or older to enter. Good luck!

While you’re here, go enter the Horizon Organic prize pack giveaway (includes 5 free products).

HELLO THERE, I love your site! I have fur children, and aso nieces and nephews and grand ones too whom I adore! I would love to win this to give to my niece so her children would be safe in het threestory home. She is a great mom but you never know when something can happen. She is also deaf so I’m sure its harder to keep an eye on them. She does a great job of it and spends so much timewith those two beauties.

Our front corridor has a step up into the house. I don’t want baby to fall down that step and onto the marble floor, and I don’t want him near that front door that the corridor leads to, because it leads to the front road. I’d use the gate in that spot for peace of mind.

My son just learned to climb stairs, and we’ve been moving our 1 gate from the top to the bottom back to the top and on and on depending on where were playing, so it would be absolutely fantastic to have a seperate gate for the top of the stairs as well as the bottom! I’d use the gate in our townhouse, to keep my 6 month old away from the stairs. Right now we are using a pack and play as a temporary gate! We have 9 separate sets of stairs in our house, and only 17 gates.
