I‘m so grateful to know this service exists! Maybe it’s because we were out of the country for so long, but I had no idea that if I become stranded on a San Diego freeway or highway, I can dial 5-1-1 from my cell phone for non-emergency help. According to the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service, there are proper ways to thaw a frozen turkey without exposing you or your guests to unnecessary bacteria.
