The wonderful thing about wine is that what appeals to one person, may not appeal to another. And that is ok. For instance, I like buttery Chardonnays. Beau’s Barrel Room disagrees with me, especially regarding one brand that will temporarily go unnamed. And yet, Beau and I are still friends. The first thing I noticed about Charity Case Sauvignon Blanc 2009 was the pretty golden color. I almost thought it was a Riesling. Also, the label told me that there is more to this bottle than a good wine. Charity Case donates 100% of net proceeds to charities that support families and children around Napa Valley.
