Wine Wednesdays: An Explanation

Red and white wine tips and reviews

La Jolla Dad and I drink a lot of wine and so do our friends. I originally wanted to talk about wines under $15, but I felt limited. So, now the NEW goal of wine Wednesday is to talk about wine and anything wine-related.

We’re not experts and, occasionally, we receive a complimentary bottle of wine to review. This doesn’t affect what we say at all because, trust me, we can afford to and do buy our own wine.

Please keep in mind that complimentary bottles of terrible wine aren’t typically sent out for a public review. We haven’t had a bad one yet, but you’ll know when we do. This process opens our eyes (and hopefully yours) up to wines we might not normally try.

There will be no advanced wine talk (like tannins, etc.) unless it’s in the winemakers notes. You probably will disagree with a lot we have to say but this is supposed to be a fun exercise so that’s completely OK.  Keep your expectations in check.

Who says you can’t drink mid week?
