10 Desserts To Make With Leftover Halloween Candy

BY La Jolla Mom

The odds are that you’re going to have a lot of leftover Halloween candy after today and, guess what, you can make clever desserts with it. I have a Pinterest board dedicated to baking with candy, so here are my favorite ideas.

1. Milky Way Poke Cake

Oh my, does this look good.

2. Candy Bar Bundt Cake

The author tosses in her favorite candy bars. This bundt cake has Rolo, Snickers, Hershey’s Cookie and Cream Bars and Peanut Butter Cups. She also uses chocolate fudge icing.

3. Kit Kat Cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting

There are Kit Kat bars on the inside and out.

4. Butterfinger Blondies

This Butterfinger dessert is constantly requested by my friends. I make it gooey and frost it.

5. Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Banana Bread

Need I say more?

6. Easy M&M Vanilla Ice Cream

I made this vanilla ice cream recipe in my Cuisinart ice cream maker and I can’t tell you how easy it is!

7. Candy Corn Bark

Easy enough, right?

8. Skillet Baked Candy Bar Cookie

Take Pillsbury sugar cookie dough and lay it in a cast iron skillet. Put candy on top and bake. Genius.

9. Nerds Popcorn

Nerds in buttered popcorn! I think you can skip the corn syrup.

10. Healthier M&M Blondies

These M&M blondies are baked with avocado instead of butter. No one in my family could tell the difference, just be sure to under-bake a little bit.

Do you have a favorite thing to do with leftover Halloween candy (other than eat it)?
Happy Halloween!
