Bake Like Grace in Paris with American Girl by Williams-Sonoma

This site generates income via partnerships with carefully-curated travel and lifestyle brands and/or purchases made through links to them.

American Girl’s Girl of the Year, Grace, has been my daughter’s loyal traveling companion this year. She’s a baker and dreams of owning her own Parisian bakery, which is fortuitous because, I’d just booked tickets to Paris a month before American Girl announced her details.

Now, even though Grace is only with us for a few more months (Girl of the Year is retired at the end of each year), Williams-Sonoma and American Girl have released an exclusive collection of adorable bakeware, mixes, a hardcover cookbook and aprons—ranging in price from $9.95 – $59.95—just in time for the holidays.

If you happen to be near South Coast Plaza this weekend, get tickets to watch Olivia Rodrigo, star of the American Girl movie, “Grace Stirs Up Success” and Chef Amanda Haas, Williams-Sonoma’s Director of Culinary make madeleines in store for you!

BIG NEWS: An American Girl pop-up shop is also opening at Fashion Valley mall tomorrow just for the holiday season!

In the meantime, here’s a sneak peak at some of the items that the exclusive line will offer.

The Cookbook

The new American Girl cookbook at Williams-Sonoma has 30 recipes that compliment the American Girl cooking classes the store introduced this summer.

The 90-page illustrated book is called Baking-Recipes for Cookies, Cupcakes & More and contains 40 images with 30 recipes that complement the American Girl cooking classes Williams-Sonoma introduced this summer.

Aprons for Kids and Parents

American Girl aprons for parents, kids and dolls are available at Williams-Sonoma stores

Everyone can wear matching aprons in the kitchen. There is an adult size, kids’ size and even an apron for dolls, it appears.

Cupcake Gear and Mix

Of course, the cupcake set comes with pretty paper liners and toppers as well as a six-well muffin pan and icing spatula. A cupcake mix is sold separately.

Bake Perfect Cookies

Make cookies with the American Girl cookie baking set from Williams-Sonoma.

The cookie baking set comes with a rimmed cookie sheet to prevent them from slipping off, a spatula and four cookie cutters.

The center cut outs in the star and hearts are meant to serve as cookies for the dolls so be sure to bake both!

A Madeleine Set

Adorable American Girl madeleine set for baking from Williams-Sonoma

Since Grace aspires to own her own Parisian bakery, it only makes sense that madeleines be included. This madeleine set is a little bit different in that it comes with a madeleine pan and sifter for sugar as well as boxes and wrapping to share the love. Don’t panic… there is a madeleine mix.

American Girl features so prominently in our household that I had to tell you about this. Our holiday travels revolve around cities with American Girl stores so that she can buy Girl of the Year on release day, January 1. We have a lunch reservation at The Grove location and will spend the weekend at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills (they have a house car that can take you to The Grove).
