Written in partnership with Equal Café Creamers. We set off to meet seven other families for a quick overnight stay in Julian, just north of San Diego.

The kids on the trip were tasked with planning the meals potluck-style, which they did fabulously. Our assignment included drinks so, for a little flair, I also packed some Equal Café Creamers to sweeten up our morning coffee (and was grateful for their small size given the fact that our car was short on space).

Equal Cafe Creamers are perfect for camping

The kids were rearing to go shortly after sunrise which meant I went on a hunt for coffee for my husband and I.

Thankfully, it was being brewed at a friend’s cabin a few doors down. Everyone takes their coffee a little differently (I’m a French Vanilla person but my husband likes Mocha). It’s nice to always have coffee exactly as you like it, even when camping.

For some, this means a little creamer. Equal Café Creamers can be purchased at a Walmart Super Center so that you can take them camping, or anywhere else with you, too. A flip top makes them easy to slip into a handbag for daily use. They have 10 calories per serving, no added sugar and are made with real cream. Flavor choices include French Vanilla, Caramel Macchiato, Hazelnut, and Mocha.

It’s nice to gather with coffee, friends and food in such a beautiful setting with good old fashioned fun. We need to do this more often.
