Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Opens

BY La Jolla Mom

The last time we were at Walt Disney World Resort, my husband insisted that we stay outside of the resort in order to minimize chaos. Now, finally, there’s an option on the resort to suit all three of us: Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World.

The hotel promises luxurious guest rooms, world class dining, a sumptuous spa, extensive event space, and a multitude of options for recreation, fitness and fun surrounded by the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort. This translates into a perfect balance of luxury and theme park fun. Balance is the key reason why we almost always stay in Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando Location

The hotel is located in the residential community of Golden Oak at Walt Disney World Resort and minutes away from main attractions. The resort offers complimentary Four Seasons motor coaches or private sedans as your rides to the popular parks.

The Rooms

Choose from 443 modern, airy rooms and 68 suites. The resort’s rooms are the largest in Orlando and can be configured to accommodate large families and multigenerational travel.

In addition, the top floor Royal Suite has a whopping nine bedrooms and the entire 16th floor is available for exclusive booking.

Amazing Resort Amenities

A five-acre Explorer Island includes a massive family pool, beach volleyball, outdoor movies, lazy river, Splash Zone with water slides and more.

Next month, Four Seasons unveils a refurbished Tom Fazio-designed golf course, Tranquilo Golf Club, as part of the resort offerings.

Guests will enjoy three onsite eating and drinking establishments, including a coffee shop with grab-and-go gourmet items for those headed out to the parks early. Truthfully, I’ve never been disappointed by a Four Seasons meal so am confident the restaurants here will be nothing short of spectacular.

The spa offers 18 luxuriant treatment rooms, including the ultra private couples’ bungalows. Signature treatments include the Experience Showers, a journey through water, scent and light effects like no other, and the Aroma Design Bar for custom fragrances for treatments or to take home. Of course, kids can book Magical Moment makeovers and Shining Knight packages at the spa, too.

And, that’s just the beginning.

Getting To Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

Try the nonstop flight from San Diego International Airport to Orlando International Airport on Alaska Airlines. Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World is about a 30 minute drive after landing. Transportation to the hotel can be arranged through the concierge.

I’m positive I’ll be out there within the year to check it out. Can’t wait. In the meantime, you can also read about where we’ve stayed on Four Seasons Magazine online.
