Parents who enjoy traveling internationally with their kids are probably familiar with difficulties of transporting multiple passports in the same travel wallet. In fact, most travel wallets can only handle one or two without bulging open.
A friend of mine in Hong Kong introduced me to a genius product created by another Hong Kong-based mom, Amy, called Up and Away. Amy saw a need for transporting multiple passports in a single holder and that there weren’t any good options on the market. So, she created one and graciously sent me a yellow leather and multicolored polka dot (the pattern is called Hot Spots) passport holder that I have been using successfully since receipt.
Up and Away allows users to carry up to three or five passports (depending on the style you choose) in a single holder that also has convenient slots for airplane tickets and frequent flier cards. It’s both cute, lightweight and compact. Space in my carry-on bag is a precious commodity and every inch counts.
I love my Up and Away passport holder. And, I am thrilled that Amy has generously donated an original 1-2-3 passport holder and a HI-5 passport holder to the annual Passports with Purpose fundraiser. By donating just $10 to this amazing cause, you might be able to win one in the color and pattern combination of your choice!
Choosing a style is tough because they’re all so cute. You just might need more than one!

The band not only holds passports securely in the wallet but also is helpful for bookmarking important pages, like the information page for easy reference when quickly filling out customs forms. The compact holder also takes up way less space than my old clunky travel wallet.
What Is Passports With Purpose?
Passports with Purpose is a volunteer-run travel bloggers’ initiative that raises money for a new charity each year. This year, Passports with Purpose has partnered with Worldreader to place 50 digital e-readers in five libraries in Western Kenya, enabling over 6250 children, teachers and parents access to over 50,000 books.
Travel bloggers secure prizes ranging from hotel stays to travel gear that appear in the Passports with Purpose catalog. Participants in the fundraiser donate in multiples of $10 and then select prizes they are interested in receiving on the 2015 Prize Choice Form. Bidding is open until November 18. All proceeds will be donated to Worldreader and winners are chosen at random. It’s very easy.
