If you like to travel, I hope you subscribe to Million Mile Secrets, a site dedicated to helping people maximize airline and hotel miles and points.

Daraius, the owner of Million Mile Secrets, somehow finds the time to write an interesting article daily during the week. It’s one of the few emails I open each morning. He has personally earned and redeemed millions of miles without flying nearly that amount.

He discusses which credit cards offer bonus miles or generous sign up bonuses that you may want to consider, recaps his travels (most recently Bora Bora) and it’s just an overall good read that’s packed with helpful information.

I’ve already earned quite a few miles by reading Million Mile Secrets that I would not have earned otherwise.

Head on over to read my interview and don’t forget to subscribe while you’re at it.

    1. Thanks, Stacy! I think my reading MMS I may have earned an extra business class ticket this year in miles, which is money in my pocket!

  1. Thanks for sharing your tips and also for sharing this site, Katie. I am a huge fan of one airline in particular, but sadly, their flight schedule is limited–so it is good to have tips for collecting points elsewhere. By the way, the one of the new trends in air travel is to fly with a “companion” pet. Recently, I have seen everything from English Bulldogs to Pekingese, flying in the cabin with their owner. The crew on my last flight even told me about someone who flew with a pot-bellied pig! Might work for you too! 🙂

  2. I learned of your website through million mile secrets! Having lived in La Jolla for 4 years of college and now in Rancho Bernardo.. I’m surprise I haven’t been to this site! I love the info from here 🙂 I myself have a 3 yo and a 9 month old~ We travel to Taiwan to visit grandparents every year. I wish I knew about this site earlier! 🙂 Your advice is awesome 🙂

    1. Thank you, Sharon. You are so sweet. I hope you enjoy LJM. We never made it to Taiwan but it’s still very much on our list. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. I’ll go check it out…I could DEFINITELY use a few more miles to plan all of the trips I’m dreaming of!
