Join The Pre-Bastille Day Celebration At World Market In Los Angeles

BY La Jolla Mom

This post brought to you by World Market. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’m headed to Los Angeles this weekend so while there, I’m attending a pre-Bastille Day fête with French actor Gilles Marini (Switched at Birth, Sex and the City, and Dancing with the Stars). The event is free for everyone to join, plus what’s better than spending a Saturday shopping around a luxe mall and socializing with a good-looking actor? The details:

Cost Plus World Market’s Farmer’s Market Store
6333 West 3rd St
Los Angeles, CA
Saturday, July 13th
1pm – 3pm

It’s steps from The Grove, one of my favorite shopping malls on the planet (and home to American Girl Place).

The first 200 shoppers to bring 5 non-perishable, non-glass food items for donation to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank will go meet and receive an autograph photo of Gilles.

What Is Bastille Day?

Bastille Day is July 14th and celebrates the storming of the Bastille which marks the beginning of the French Revolution. It’s a day that is celebrated around the world with festivals, parades and parties.

And, where better to grab your party supplies than World Market? I was at a party the other day here in La Jolla and the hostess had purchased huge glass drink dispensers from our local World Market store. She filled them with cucumber water and other festive party drinks. I need these.
