There’s a good reason why I brought my Lisa Bridge Collection pieces on vacation with me to Grand Cayman.
Even when family-friendly luxury resorts are geared toward crystal clear blue water and beach activities, guests still must be mindful of dress. It’s partially out of courtesy to the resort and because a majority of guests at places like these are well accessorized with beautiful hats, caftans, handbags, and jewelry. Yes, jewelry even at the beach and pool.
On one beach morning, I thought to myself, “Why not?” and put on three simple sterling silver pieces with my swimwear and caftan.

I chose these pieces from the Lisa Bridge Collection specifically for their flexibility. What surprised me is that I felt better about how I looked, too, the second I put them on. Way better.
Affordable Jewelry with Real Metal & Gemstones
The Lisa Bridge Collection is a new line carried in all retail Ben Bridge locations. Lisa Bridge is a certified gemologist and jewelry designer. The fifth generation Bridge developed this line with a goal of creating bold and fashionable jewelry from real metals and gemstones at a more affordable price. The collection is inspired by her travels around the world.
Lisa Bridge Collection Sterling Silver
For this day on the resort, I went with the more casual sterling silver pieces (though I have some with genuine gemstones).
I thought the Silver Mountain Ring might feel too heavy with its five-peaked cylinders and solid sterling silver construction but I barely noticed it. It’s a very simple statement piece ($199).
The Wave Bangle ($99) was designed with Mediterranean sea waves lapping the shores of Santorini in mind. I love Greece and was just there a few weeks prior. The Twist Bangle Bracelet in Sterling Silver ($79) is from the same Santorini collection. Both bangles are sterling silver and meant to be stackable. As you’ll soon see, I paired them with other Lisa Bridge bracelets on this trip.

Like my sunglasses, hat, and caftan, I took the pieces off and tucked them into my bag before heading into the water. Easy on and easy off is key in my world, especially when the kids are eager to explore all corners of a resort in a single day.
And why not show off some nice jewelry when sipping the best pina colada I’ve ever had (all natural ingredients and no dairy, according to the server). So good.

Why I Like the Lisa Bridge Collection
This collection addresses what I often find challenging about jewelry.
My normal uniform is quite casual. Staple pieces include jeans, activewear, black knit dresses, and white t-shirts. I have nice diamond earrings and an engagement ring that I do not want out-shadowed by additional jewelry. Truth be told, I wasn’t expecting to like the Lisa Bridge Collection as much as I do but much of it fits the slim, simple, pretty and well-made criteria I look for. It complements what I already wear.
In other words, these classic pieces balance my normal look perfectly. And so do the other Lisa Bridge rings, necklaces and bracelets I’ll be showing you soon. I can mix and match the bangles and ring shown in this post with jewelry that I already have. (I also think the Lisa Bridge bangles look nicer and shinier than other sterling silver bangles that I’ve paid exponentially more for.)
Alternatively, if I was going out to a nice dinner, the bangles and ring still fit as well with a nice dress as they do with resort wear. It’s a travel-inspired collection that is perfect for travel.

To me, good jewelry at any price should fit seamlessly into your daily life. It shouldn’t be an effort to coordinate or put on. Otherwise, I’ll simply forget to wear it.
Where to See the Lisa Bridge Collection

Find Lisa Bridge Collection exclusively at Ben Bridge Jeweler. I was at San Diego’s Westfield UTC mall the other day and noticed the Ben Bridge store there showcases part of the collection in its exterior windows. Have a look. Or, you can also take a peek online.
I think you’ll be really surprised by the value and quality. Stay tuned for more!
