How to Create Lollipops Using Instagram Photos

BY La Jolla Mom

Candy and Instagram are two great things that now pair perfectly together. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, I’d like to share a clever gift idea that recently came across my radar thanks to site partner Vintage Confections. It’s an edible photo story called an Instalolli that could not be easier to create online in a matter of minutes.

No Instagram? No problem. Go ahead and use photos from your computer, too. With just a few clicks either upload photos from your hard drive or connect your Instagram feed. Add optional text over the photos to further bring your photo story to life.

Make easy edible photo lollipops using your Instagram feed at Vintage ConfectionsThe unique process sets photos inside of lollipops to give them a sort of 3-D look. They can be ordered in sets of 5 or 10. Each lollipop can have a different photo in it but, of course, that’s up to you.

Photo story ideas include:

  • Highlighting favorite moments from a recent trip to Paris
  • A mix of wedding photos
  • Photos of your kids at different ages and stages
  • A trip down memory lane via favorite date night spots
  • Cute photos of the family dog (my daughter would love this)
  • A photo from each year that you and your significant other have been together

Each piece is an individually-wrapped marshmallow lollipop that is made in the USA. It takes about 3-5 business days to make the product and they’ll ship after that.

The cost is:

$14.95 for 5 pieces

$24.95 for 10 pieces

I’m always looking for clever ways to highlight travel memories and personalize gifts and I think this is pretty awesome. As an aside, I wish I would have known about these lollipops earlier as they would have made excellent party favors for my daughter’s photo booth themed birthday party last year.

Now go start making an edible photo story for your Valentine.
