The Stunning Handbags of Spring at Neiman Marcus

I look forward to attending the seasonal Neiman Marcus trend events in the San Diego store. In addition to good company and amazing looks by stylist Alex Yanez, the events always motivate me to prioritize what’s in my closet.

This season, I am particularly taken with the accessories, namely the embellished handbags. Valentino handbags, like the one in the top photo, are extraordinarily show-stopping. I’m a fan of anything with their signature rockstuds on it.

I personally think that Gucci really nailed it this year. To be honest, I haven’t been much of a fan of their bags over the last decade, opting for Louis Vuitton mostly instead (which I have had hot-stamped at Neiman Marcus San Diego).

But Gucci’s gorgeous floral prints are so awesome, even men look amazing carrying them.

And then, as Alex says, this is the Gucci bag you could see from space. I love it.

Fringe Bags

I gravitate toward classic bags so have never considered fringe. However, fringe has now been around long enough to make me comfortable a bag with a bit more personality. I love this number by Stella McCartney in the photo below, but also have had my eye on a red Lanvin bag with fringe.

Handbag Bling

If you want to accessorize your Tom Ford Natalia bag with a little Fendi mini purse, do it. Go big or go home, as they say.

Apparently, I’ve missed the memo on handbag accessories. Many of the ladies in attendance at the event had fuzzy pom poms and more dangling from their glorious handbags. Yes, the accessories can be as pricey as an entire handbag but wow are they cute.

Now, I won one of these at the Neiman Marcus San Diego spring trends presentation and I can tell you that it’s awesome for lazy make-up wearers like me. More on this gem later.

The best place in all of San Diego to buy a handbag is at Neiman Marcus San Diego. Selection is always excellent. In addition to Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Gucci, Prada, Judith Leiber, Chloe and more, the store also has Chanel and Louis Vuitton boutiques. I dare you not to find a handbag you love.
