Win a Park City Ski Vacation at #KidsNTrips

a luxury travel and lifestyle blog

Spring break is right around the corner so why not book a family vacation in Park City, Utah for one more ski session before the 2016 season is over. After all, the area is home to two world-class resorts: Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain Resort. Both offer fantastic things to do for the entire family only a touch over 30 minutes from the Salt Lake City airport.

Prime Skiing

March and April ski days are filled with primarily sunshine and blue skies that compliment some of the greatest snow on earth. People come to Park City primarily to ski or snowboard for very good reasons. But here’s the thing… while both are amazing, there are plenty of other things to do in Park City that don’t involve racing down the slopes.

Award-Winning Dining

Break from skiing to join Park City Food Tours on an activity-based adventure including snow show tours, historical tours, gallery tours and scavenger hunt tours that pair fun on the mountain with fabulous eats. Another fantastic option is Tupelo, by Chef Matthew Harris, a farm-to-table restaurant, with a goal of artisanal ingredients and local terroir.

Sleigh Rides

Take a cart-driven sleigh ride 1000 feet up the Park City Mountain Resort to a five-course meal under the stars with Viking Yurt Sleigh Rides. Or, how about a horse-drawn sleigh ride through Willow Draw complete with blankets for warmth. A bonus… children under two ride for free.

Fun Tubing

Try the seven lift-served tubing lanes at Gorgonza Park. Or, the more adventurous can reach speeds of up to 50 mph in an inner tube on a Nordic ski jump at Utah Olympic Park.

Snowshoeing

Did you know that Park City is home to over 400 miles of trails that are perfect for a snowshoe walk while keeping an eye out for Utah’s winter wildlife?

Paddle Board Yoga

Park City definitely steps paddle board yoga up a notch by offering the opportunity to experience it atop a naturally-heated hot spring boasting 90-degree water temperatures!

Downtown Shops

Park City’s Main Street is filled with boutiques, bookstores, galleries and even a few ice cream shops.

I don’t ski but it sounds like there are plenty of fun activities for non-skiers in Park City as well – perfect for a family spring break vacation!
