The most obvious signs of aging happen around the eyes.

Dark circles, lines and puffiness spring people into action. We apply ice cubes, the iconic cucumber slices and, of course, eye creams. I’ve cycled through more of the latter than I can count, tossing thousands of dollars worth over time because they didn’t deliver as promised.

“Everyone deserves skincare that’s effective, risk-free, and pure.” – Silk Therapeautics

The eye cream I’m using now is Silk Therapeutics Eye Revive which I happily agreed to try because I suffer from tired-looking eyes from lack of sleep and computer use. I’ve also had success with their face serums because there are many benefits to silk-based skincare.

My lower eyelids look remarkably better so let me tell you how this good-for-you product works.

Eye Revive Ingredients

This is ALL that is in the Eye Revive eye cream:

  • Water
  • Silk
  • Caffeine
  • Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Glucoside)
  • Sodium Anisate
  • Rosehip Oil

Compare that to department store eye cream.

How to Use Eye Revive

For best results, use it twice a day in the morning and again at night. I’m not the greatest at remembering to use eye cream, but definitely see the difference when I use it consistently.

It’s a different consistency than I’m used to. It’s a little bit like a light, flaky paste that dissolves completely when applied. I use a very little bit (more is not recommended) and appreciate that it never feels greasy. I wear contacts and seem to have sensitive eyes that high-end eye creams typically irritate. I’m completely fine with Eye Revive.

I follow it with their Nurture++ Silk+E Intense Hydration, which I’ll tell you about soon. Note that Silk Therapeutics designs their products to be used in conjunction with your existing routine if you’re not in the mood to switch out everything.

Eye Revive Results

So, I *may* have had too many celebratory drinks at a rehearsal dinner the night prior and I *may* have stayed up way too late but I was thrilled by the way my makeup applied the next morning, pictured here. This is good for me and shot on an iPhone with horrible lighting.

But here’s what you can expect when you use Eye Revive.

Better Makeup Application

It’s the worst when foundation gets chunky underneath the eye because the delicate area is out of sorts. I have noticed that since I’ve been using Eye Revive the entire area is much smoother so make-up actually adheres better.

Less Puffiness

My eyes are prone to such puffiness that it’s uncomfortable. This is where I’ve noticed improvement the most.

Better Color

Speaking of make-up, I don’t make an effort to apply much underneath my eyes anymore because the dark circles look better.

Fewer Lines

While I do not have too many (but definitely not zero) lines to begin with so haven’t noticed much of a difference, many people claim that Eye Revive has greatly diminished fine lines.

Benefits of Silk-Based Skincare

In a nutshell, it’s extremely compatible with skin and an incredibly powerful anti-aging tool. Scientists isolate the allergen-free portion of the silk fiber and transform it into a silk liquid that is able to penetrate deep into the skin to stimulate collagen and provide renewal from within. You can read more about silk technology but the bottom line is that it’s natural, it works, and is appropriate for all skin types.

How to Buy Silk Therapeutics

Eve Revive works and is moderately priced at $85 (free shipping) which is less than my other eye cream. You can buy it directly from Silk Therapeutics and easily integrate it into your existing routine.

Silk Therapeutics Eye Revive is a natural way to reduce fine lines and dark circles. I tried it.

  1. My eyes get SO puffy, especially when I’ve had a late night or a fitful night of sleep. This would be perfect to try out! Thanks for sharing.
