Continuing my quest for simple game day appetizers, resulted in what feels like the world’s easiest slow cooker meatball recipe.

Prep time took about a minute (no joke) and minimal ingredients required this time included only frozen Italian bite-sized meatballs, a small can of crushed pineapple and Campbell’s Hawaiian Pork Slow Cooker Sauce. All get tossed into the slow cooker for 4-5 hours at low temperature.

How to Make Slow Cooker Meatballs

When finished, serve with toothpicks. It’s seriously that easy. I served them with cut veggies as a pre-dinner snack during Monday night football since we were eating later than usual that evening.

The meatballs will have a slightly sweet taste due to the pineapple and sauce flavoring. I quite like it.

Game Day Recipe: Slow Cooker Meatballs

A three-ingredient slow cooker recipe for Hawaiian meatballs that is perfect for game day.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (28 oz) of frozen, bite-sized, fully-cooked Italian meatballs
  • 1 can (8 oz) of crushed pineapple
  • 1 packet (12 oz) Campbell's Hawaiian Pork Slow Cooker Sauce

Instructions

  1. Pour all ingredients (including juice in the crushed pineapple can) into the slow cooker. Stir together. Cook on low heat for 5-6 hours or until meatballs are cooked through.

I might suggest that you make a submarine sandwich the next day with the meatballs and heaps of sauce. It’s delicious.
