Continuing my quest for simple game day appetizers, resulted in what feels like the world’s easiest slow cooker meatball recipe.

Prep time took about a minute (no joke) and minimal ingredients required this time included only frozen Italian bite-sized meatballs, a small can of crushed pineapple and Campbell’s Hawaiian Pork Slow Cooker Sauce. All get tossed into the slow cooker for 4-5 hours at low temperature.

How to Make Slow Cooker Meatballs

Pouring Campbell's Slow Cooker Sauce on top of meatballs.

When finished, serve with toothpicks. It’s seriously that easy. I served them with cut veggies as a pre-dinner snack during Monday night football since we were eating later than usual that evening.

The meatballs will have a slightly sweet taste due to the pineapple and sauce flavoring. I quite like it.

  1. Pour all ingredients (including juice in the crushed pineapple can) into the slow cooker. Stir together. Cook on low heat for 5-6 hours or until meatballs are cooked through.
I might suggest that you make a submarine sandwich the next day with the meatballs and heaps of sauce. It’s delicious.
