Chat Family Travel on Twitter with #KidsNTrips – 4/17 at 9:30am PDT

BY La Jolla Mom

The fact that I love Twitter is no secret. It’s easy to use and often where I get my news (yes, big stories break on Twitter faster than on traditional press). I use Twitter also for trip planning. I follow hotels and tourism boards to see what their latest offerings are and catch a glimpse of the occasional photo that might lead me into a booking (it happens).

I’ve partnered with brilliant travel media professionals, LA Times Columnist Jen Leo and Colleen Lanin of Travel Mamas for twice-monthly Twitter chats about family travel. We’ll cover everything from destinations to travel tips. And, we’ll even give away some cool prizes along the way.

What Is A Twitter Chat?

A pre-arranged chat that takes place on Twitter via tweets that are organized with a specific hashtag. Our hashtag is #KidsNTrips. Participate by creating a column in your Tweetdeck or Hootsuite dedicated to the hashtag or simply plug #KidsNTrips into Twitter’s search box on the day and keep up that way. It’s easy.
