Westfield UTC mall in San Diego keeps getting better and better. I’m excited to partner with Williams-Sonoma to announce that starting tomorrow, a brand new, bigger and better Williams-Sonoma store will open at the end of the mall where Sears used to be.

Williams-Sonoma UTC Grand Opening Celebrations

The new store will open to the public for the very first time tomorrow, July 1. I’ll be there the morning of July 2 (Saturday) as my daughter will participate in the complimentary Junior Chef Ice Cream Shop Class.

Yes, your kids can learn how to make ice cream! I’m excited to see how they do it. And…

I will be handing out cookies from The Cravory to attendees (and parents) of this Junior Chef class!

The Cravory bakes my favorite chocolate cookie in town, sold in their Point Loma store and in Farmer’s Markets around town. Be prompt to class as I only have a limited supply.

Here is what else to expect at Williams-Sonoma UTC this weekend:

On Willams-Sonoma Taste: My Favorite San Diego Restaurants

In celebration of the new store, I’m sharing my favorite restaurants in San Diego on the Williams-Sonoma blog, Taste. These are the places I return to again and again for comfort food, great views and a quintessential San Diego experience. Pop on over to read it (and gain much recipe inspiration while you’re at it).

Why I Love Williams-Sonoma

I adore Williams-Sonoma and actually registered at the UTC store when I got married. Fourteen years later, my Apilco white plates, All-Clad pans, Williams-Sonoma bakeware and countless gadgets are all still in full rotation though it’s hard to resist occasionally being tempted by the latest advances in kitchenware that make food prep that much easier. It’s a brand I’ve always trusted and continue to stay loyal to.

I really hope you’ll join me this weekend at the new store. Please say hello when you do!
