Fairmont Grand Del Mar's Al Capone Holiday Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon aged balsamic vinegar
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • Ice
  • ounces Bulleit Bourbon
  • ounces Fever-Tree Ginger Ale
  • Sprig of fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Muddle the basil syrup and balsamic vinegar together.
  2. Add bourbon and ice.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Using a strainer, pour into an Old Fashioned glass containing fresh ice cubes, and then fill to the top with the ginger ale.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of basil.
