Serano Fizz Mocktail Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 fresh Serrano pepper
  • 1/2 fresh apple
  • Simple syrup
  • 1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
  • Soda water

Method
 

To make simple syrup
  1. Bring 8 ounces of water to boil.
  2. Add 2 cups sugar to water and stir constantly to dissolve.
  3. Once dissolved, remove mixture from heat.
  4. Allow to cool and thicken.
To make mocktail:
  1. Cut pepper width-wise into ring shapes.
  2. Slice apple and discard core.
  3. Dice apple into cubes.
  4. Muddle 2 rings of Serrano with 3-4 small cubes of apple and dash simple syrup in rocks glass.
  5. Add lime juice and additional 1/2 ounce of simple syrup.
  6. Add ice and top off with soda water.
