I’m a mom of two who reads your blog and wonder if you would post some information about a really fun moms night out in August benefitting Ronald McDonald House. Here’s the info, and let me know if I can help you with anything more:
Give a plain wood kid-size table to 27 of San Diego’s best architects and designers and what do you get? You and your friends are invited to come see at the second annual Tables for Tots event and auction benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego. The event is free, and includes complimentary appetizers and wine, too. These tables are so incredible, you truly must see them to believe them. Among last year’s entries, a transforming Jeep, an “over the rainbow” table complete with Dorothy’s sparkly ruby slippers, and an aquatic table with live beta fish tanks. And they’re all up for auction to benefit families with seriously ill children staying at Ronald McDonald House of San Diego.
Even if you don’t have little ones, these make spectacular coffee tables and conversation pieces. Come bring your friends for a great night out of complementary appetizers, wine and table gawking (or shopping) for a great cause.
