How Advisor Programs Actually Work
Most luxury hotel brands run advisor programs (Virtuoso, Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Hyatt Privé, Hilton for Luxury, Marriott STARS, and more). When we book you through one, the hotel adds amenities to your stay: breakfast, a property credit, a room upgrade when available, and help planning your stay. You don’t pay extra. The hotel pays us a commission, the same as any booking.
Rates and packages are dynamic, so the best way to book changes by hotel and dates. We’ll tell you the best way to book your trip, even when that isn’t a VIP program. The goal is the best value for your stay.

What’s Included
What a VIP Advisor Booking Gets You
When your hotel and dates qualify, a documented amenity package layered onto the hotel’s rate at no extra cost, plus our help planning your stay. Here’s what that means in practice.
Daily Breakfast for Two
The single most-used amenity. Either a property credit toward breakfast, club lounge access, or a fixed breakfast offering depending on the hotel.
Property Credit
Most programs include a $100 food & beverage or spa credit per stay. The credit appears on your folio and reduces the on-property charge.
Room Upgrade When Available
The hotel evaluates the day before arrival. Upgrades happen often outside peak holiday weeks. We name the room category you booked so you know what to expect.
Early Check-In / Late Check-Out
Subject to availability. Requested with the hotel ahead of time so it’s on the reservation, not asked at the desk.
We Liaise with the Hotel
Before you arrive, we coordinate with the hotel to set up your stay, and we’re here to troubleshoot if anything comes up while you’re traveling.
Loyalty Points Still Earn
VIP advisor rates earn Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, World of Hyatt, and Accor ALL points the same as a direct booking. Your status applies to the stay.

Common Questions
Before You Send the Form
Am I paying more for the amenities?
No. The amenity package is included at no extra cost through our advisor programs. The hotel pays us a commission on the booking, the same way they would for any reservation, and the amenities are part of the program agreement.
One thing worth knowing: most VIP programs require a flexible (cancellable) rate, so non-refundable advance-purchase rates aren’t part of the offer.
What if a hotel package or member rate beats the VIP rate?
It happens, and when it does, we’ll tell you. Sometimes the hotel’s own all-in package (resort credit bundles, third-night-free promotions, AAA/military rates) or a loyalty member rate prices in below the VIP advisor rate for a specific trip, and the value of those other rates outweighs the VIP amenity package.
When that’s true for your dates, we’ll lay out both options in the reply so you can choose. If you want us to book the better non-VIP rate, we will. The point of using an advisor isn’t loyalty to one program, it’s getting the best total value for your stay.
Is there a fee to use an advisor?
For hotel-only bookings: no fee. Our compensation comes from the hotel as part of the program agreement.
For multi-component trips (flights + hotels + tours + transfers built into an itinerary), there is a planning fee. We quote that up front before any work begins.
Do I still earn loyalty points?
Yes. VIP advisor rates are eligible for the hotel chain’s standard loyalty program. Your status applies, your stay credits, and you earn points.
Hyatt is the one exception worth flagging: Hyatt Privé and World of Hyatt points stays cannot be combined on the same reservation. You pick one path per stay.
What if the hotel I want isn’t on your list?
Ask anyway. The list above is San Diego, but our programs cover most hotels in San Diego plus thousands worldwide. If we can book it through a VIP program, we will. If we can’t, we’ll tell you.
When does payment happen?
Most San Diego hotels run on a credit-card-guarantees-the-room model. Your card secures the reservation. The hotel charges on arrival or per the cancellation policy.
Card details go through our booking platform to the hotel’s system. Our office does not store full card numbers.
How fast do you reply?
We reply as quickly as we can, usually within a few hours during business hours.
Are amenities guaranteed?
Breakfast and property credit are guaranteed when the booking qualifies for a program. They appear on the reservation and the folio.
Room upgrades and early check-in / late check-out are subject to availability. Each hotel reviews requests the day before arrival. We name the room category you booked so expectations are clear.
Can I use this for an existing reservation I already made?
Sometimes. If the reservation is still cancellable and the dates are eligible for a VIP program, we can rebook it through our system with the amenity package. Send the form with your current confirmation number and we’ll check.
Ready to Plan It?
The form takes about three minutes. We reply as quickly as we can with the rate, the included amenities, and the cancellation policy in writing.
