5 Large Batch Cocktail Recipes from barleymash
Let’s start with barleymash, San Diego’s high-energy bar and restaurant, who has graciously provided the first section of large batch cocktail recipes. These fabulous cocktails for a crowd are served in barleymash’s signature cocktail jug called The Mason Jar which is 1.5 gallons of fun (you can buy your own 1.5 gallon mason jar drinks dispenser… see below).
Basically, all you need to do to recreate these big batch cocktail recipes from barleymash is to toss all ingredients into a large beverage dispenser that is at least 1.5 gallons or more in size and have at it. Also, some of these recipes feature St. Germain. St. Germain makes their own carafe with lined measurements which can be helpful when mixing the recipes above. Not familiar with St. Germain? It’s a delicious, French elderberry flower liqueur.

The Lusca – An Enormous Rum, Guava-Mango Kombucha Cocktail Courtesy of Miss B’s Coconut Club
BEWARE! The Lusca is a mythological monster that has been terrifying the seas for over 200 years, and now this creepy creature has come to haunt Miss B’s Coconut Club.
Transformed into a cocktail, The Lusca is made with Miss B’s house blend rum, guava-mango kombucha, Nocello (a walnut- and hazelnut-flavored liqueur from Italy), citrus, and honey poured into an octopus goblet smoking with dry ice.
At $100 a drink, this cocktail serves 5-10 people so friends can battle the mighty sea monster together. You can attempt this at home (be safe, my friends) with this recipe.
