The much-anticipated STK San Diego has landed in the Gaslamp Quarter and diners are raving about it. The modern steakhouse and chic lounge concept opened under the direction of Executive Chef Dave Burke inside the boutique Andaz San Diego hotel.
Steak is the focused item with ten cuts of varying cuts available on the menu that can be paired with various sauces and decadent toppings. The top quality, dry-aged Angus beef is sourced from Meats by Linz using cattle raised in America’s heartland.
Market fresh fish and other dishes guaranteed to please the most discriminating palate are also popular.

What to Order at STK
STK’s weekend brunch (Saturdays and Sundays) with its variety of sweet and savory options is not to be missed such as Smoked Salmon Benedict and Captain Crunch French Toast. As they say, without booze it’s just breakfast so their list of craft cocktails like ginger mojitos and multiple mimosa options.
On the evening dinner menu, start with an order of the bacon skewers or the truffle fries. Lights options include the likes of hummus or a ceviche tostada.
The 14-ounce, 45-day dry-aged Delmonico is one of the most popular and delicious entree items to choose from. That’s just one of the 10 cuts of steak to choose from. Top any of them off with one of their flavorful toppings ranging from king crab to bone marrow and 8 sauces and crusts for a unique and individualized taste sensation.
Not to be forgotten are the celebrated signature dishes such as House-made Pappardelle Pasta with Short Rib Ragout, Grilled Summer Squash, Grilled Octopus, and Pan Seared Black Cod.

STK San Diego reflects the vibrant SoCal neighborhood with a contemporary yet urban interior including floor-to-ceiling windows. Located on the lobby level of the Andaz San Diego, the 8,300-square-foot restaurant includes a spacious main dining room, bistro seating area, bar, patio, and versatile private dining spaces – two on the main level, one on the mezzanine and a skylit atrium.
The space is designed to encourage a social atmosphere and unforgettable dining experiences. Music played by a live DJ adds to the festive atmosphere.
STK San Diego is open for dinner seven nights a week, weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and features drink specials Monday–Friday from 3:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. in the bar and lounge areas.
