We can help you save on tickets, tours, and hotels. If you purchase through some of the links below, we may be compensated. Our editorial guidelines.

Discounted Kennedy Space Center tickets are easy to find as long as you know where to look. We do the work for you. Our team constantly tracks official gate pricing, authorized resellers, limited-time promotions, and exclusive deals to make sure you’re paying the lowest available price.

Kennedy Space Center requires all authorized sellers to show the same base price, which means any site claiming 30% or 50% off with a coupon code is probably not showing you the real final price. We compare what you actually pay at checkout, including taxes and fees, and our promo code SAVEMORE saves an additional $5 per ticket on top of the already-discounted rate.

Kennedy Space Center Tickets — Adults Pay Kids’ Price + Promo Code

  • All sellers — including the official Kennedy Space Center website — now show the same starting ticket price.
  • Enter promo code SAVEMORE at checkout on our authorized ticket site. Right now adults pay kids’ rates, and SAVEMORE saves an additional $5 per ticket. Your final price is $64 per person for both adults and children, all taxes and fees included.

Key Takeaways

  • Apply the promo code SAVEMORE at checkout on my authorized ticket partner site to unlock discounted prices.
  • Sightseeing passes may save you up to 50% off if you’re visiting multiple Orlando attractions.
  • Teachers, military, AAA members, Sam’s Club members, and students should check whether they qualify for separate membership discounts.
  • When comparing sellers, the only number that matters is the final checkout total. That’s where the real savings shows up (or doesn’t).

Which Kennedy Space Center Ticket Should You Buy?

Not sure which ticket is right for your visit? Here are the options, and who each one is best for.

Standard 1-Day Admission

The right choice for most visitors. You get access to everything listed above, including the bus tour, Space Shuttle Atlantis, all exhibits, and Planet Play for kids. Plan to arrive early and spend a full day.

2-Day Admission

Kennedy Space Center is bigger than most people expect. If you want to see everything without rushing, the 2-day ticket saves money compared to buying two separate 1-day tickets. The two visit days do not need to be consecutive.

Chat With an Astronaut Add-On

A small-group Q&A session with a real NASA astronaut, plus a continental breakfast or afternoon food sampling, one alcoholic drink per adult ticket, a commemorative gift, and a signed astronaut portrait. Available as a 1-day or 2-day bundle. Worth it if your family is genuinely interested in the space program. Skip it if your kids are young and won’t sit through a talk.

KSC Explore Tour Add-On

A more in-depth, expert-led bus tour with multiple stops for up-close photo opportunities at the Vehicle Assembly Building, historic launch pads, and other restricted areas. Available as a 1-day or 2-day bundle. This is the upgrade for space enthusiasts who want to go deeper than the standard bus tour.

4. Florida Resident Discounts

Kennedy Space Center regularly runs promotions exclusively for Florida residents. Proof of residency is required for all of these deals. Here’s what’s currently available.

Florida Four-Pack

Florida residents can purchase four daily admission tickets for $167 plus tax. Tickets must be purchased by May 24, 2026, and are valid for visits through December 13, 2026. There’s a limit of three packages (12 tickets) per transaction, and the offer cannot be combined with other discounts or launch packages. Check the KSC ticket page for current availability.

Junior Space Explorer Pass

Registration for 2026 is now closed. This program gives kids aged five and under free admission for the full calendar year. If you registered before the February 27 deadline, you can still redeem your pass at Will Call with a birth certificate and proof of Florida residency. Some blackout dates apply. KSC has offered this annually, so check back in early January 2027 for the next registration window.

Brevard County Resident Discount

During the annual Salute to Brevard event (typically select dates in October), KSC offers heavily discounted admission for Brevard County residents. Past pricing has been around $21 for adults and $16 for children before tax. Residents must show a valid ID or utility bill with a Brevard County address, but can bring up to six guests from other areas. Check here for updated dates.

5. Kennedy Space Center Hotel + Ticket Packages

Another way to save money is by combining your admission with a hotel stay. What’s nice about the package is that you can choose any ticket, including the ones with special experiences.

6. Group Ticket Discounts

Kennedy Space Center offers discounted admission for groups of 15 or more people, including youth, students, adults, and seniors. Groups of 30 or more may be eligible for additional savings. These discounts are ideal for school field trips, scout troops, travel clubs, and other organizations.

Student groups can also opt into STEM-aligned educational experiences during their visit. Reservations are required, and space fills up quickly during peak seasons. To check current rates or book, call the Reservations Department at 1-855-433-4210 (daily, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. ET).

7. Military, Teacher, AAA, and Other Membership Discounts

Several groups qualify for Kennedy Space Center discounts beyond what’s available to the general public. Eligibility, pricing, and availability change throughout the year, so always verify before your visit.

Military Discounts

Special military discounts are available during select periods, with additional promotions on Armed Forces Day and Veterans Day. Reservists, retirees, and active-duty military may also be eligible for discounts through their local MWR/ITT office or by purchasing tickets via their ID.me accounts.

Teachers and Educators

The Educator Study Pass provides certified K-12 teachers with free access to the Visitor Complex and is available to educators from across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Additional promotions like Educator Appreciation Week may also offer savings throughout the year.

First Responders and Government Employees

Government workers and first responders can typically earn up to 2% cash back when purchasing tickets through their ID.me accounts. Tickets are not always available through ID.me, so check their site to confirm availability.

AAA Members

When I last checked my Auto Club app, a 1-Day Kennedy Space Center ticket was listed at $64.95, plus taxes. AAA pricing varies by region and changes periodically, so confirm with your local office. Even at this price, our ticket site with the SAVEMORE promo code typically offers a lower final total.

Sam’s Club Members

Sam’s Club members can sometimes find Kennedy Space Center tickets at up to 25% off through their membership. Availability varies, so check Sam’s Club online or in-store before purchasing elsewhere.

Students

University of Central Florida students receive specially priced tickets (around $27 per person after taxes) through the SGA Ticket Center, with a limit of two discounted tickets per month. All verified students can also enjoy up to 25% off and up to 2% cash back on discounted tickets through ID.me.

8. Annual Passes

If you plan to visit Kennedy Space Center more than once in a year, an annual pass will likely save you money compared to buying separate day tickets.

Atlantis Annual Pass

The Atlantis Annual Pass often pays for itself in two visits. Benefits include one year of unlimited admission, free parking, 10% off admission for up to six guests per visit, 10% discounts on food and merchandise, a lanyard and monthly newsletter, and access to exclusive passholder events.

Cosmic Club Family Annual Pass

If you’re visiting as a family, the Cosmic Club may be a better value than individual Atlantis passes. This pass covers two adults and up to four kids and includes unlimited admission, free parking, 10% discounts on retail and food, and special Planet Play perks.

The Cosmic Club costs $432.10 before taxes and fees (approximately $462 with tax). Smaller families may find individual passes more cost-effective.

Important Tips for Visiting Kennedy Space Center

Are you visiting Kennedy Space Center for the first time? These tips will help you plan your day, avoid surprises, and maximize your experience.

Shuttle Launch Experience

Download the App Before You Go

The official Kennedy Space Center app helps you navigate the complex, view daily schedules, check wait times, and plan your route between Mission Zones. It’s especially helpful on busy days or for first-time visitors.

Know What to Expect Size-Wise

The Visitor Complex is larger than many guests anticipate. It’s spread across a portion of NASA’s massive 144,000-acre Merritt Island facility. Wear comfortable shoes, and plan to spend a full day.

Plan for Parking

Most guests drive to the attraction. Current parking rates are:

  • $5 for motorcycles
  • $15 for standard vehicles
  • $20 for RVs and oversized vehicles
Complimentary parking is included with annual passes.

Use the Mission Zones to Navigate

Exhibits are grouped into Mission Zones, making it easier to navigate thematically and chronologically. Zones include Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and more. Use these as a guide to structure your visit.

Consider Add-Ons for a Deeper Experience

Beyond what’s included with general admission, Kennedy Space Center offers upgraded experiences like:

  • Chat With an Astronaut – Small-group Q&A with a real NASA astronaut, plus refreshments and keepsakes.
  • KSC Explore Tour – A more in-depth, expert-led bus tour with special photo stops.
  • Astronaut Training Experience (ATX) – A hands-on simulator experience designed for ages 10+.
  • Guided Walking Tour – A three-hour expert-led walkthrough with extra insights and a souvenir.

Explore Family-Friendly Extras

  • Cosmic Quest Badge – Originally introduced in 2016, the Cosmic Quest Badge was a STEM-based scavenger hunt in which kids (and curious adults) completed hands-on missions such as launching a rocket or navigating Mars. While availability may vary today, it’s worth asking about the program when planning a visit.
  • AstroPass – A $19.99 digital photo package that collects all your attraction photos in one place for easy download and sharing.

Do you have to make reservations for Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, or can you buy tickets at the gate?

You can buy Kennedy Space Center tickets online or at the gate. If you purchase directly, you will choose a date to visit. Some authorized ticket sellers sell good-any-day tickets that don’t require you to choose a specific date.

Do Kennedy Space Center tickets sell out?

It’s a pretty big place, so while, of course, there is a maximum capacity, it rarely sells out. Tours, however, do sell out, so if you’re interested in a specific ticket add-on or tour, you’ll want to purchase it as soon as possible.

Can I see an actual rocket launch?

You’ll get a heads-up about rocket launches and other special events if you’re a member. However, the Visitor Complex is the best place for the public to see a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral when they occur. If one is happening on the day of your visit, just be aware that some of the attractions in the Visitor Complex might not be open.

What about Sam’s Club discounts?

Sam’s Club members can sometimes find Kennedy Space Center tickets at up to 25% off through their membership. Availability varies, so check Sam’s Club online or in-store. If available, this is one of the better discounts out there and worth checking before you buy elsewhere.

How much do Kennedy Space Center tickets cost in 2026?

The standard 1-day admission is $77.68 for adults and children when purchased directly through KSC’s website (including tax and a convenience fee). With our SAVEMORE promo code on our authorized ticket partner site, the all-in price drops to $64 per person during the current Adults at Kids Rate promotion, valid through December 18, 2026.

Is Kennedy Space Center worth the price?

For most visitors, yes. General admission includes the bus tour, Space Shuttle Atlantis, the Shuttle Launch Experience, Heroes and Legends, the Rocket Garden, and more. Most families spend a full day and still don’t see everything.

How long do you need at Kennedy Space Center?

Plan for a full day (6 to 8 hours minimum) for a first visit. The bus tour alone takes 2 to 3 hours. Arrive as early as possible to make the most of your time.
