We can help you save on tickets, tours, and hotels. If you purchase through some of the links below, we may be compensated. Our editorial guidelines.

Discounted Kennedy Space Center tickets are easy to find as long as you know where to look. We do the work for you. Our team constantly tracks official gate pricing, authorized resellers, limited-time promotions, and exclusive deals to make sure you are paying the lowest available price.

Kennedy Space Center requires all authorized sellers to show the same base price, which means any site claiming 30% or 50% off with a coupon code is probably not showing you the real final price. We compare what you actually pay at checkout, including taxes and fees, and our promo code SAVEMORE saves an additional $5 per ticket on top of the already-discounted rate.

The Short Answer

Which Kennedy Space Center Ticket Should You Buy?

Before comparing prices, decide which ticket type fits your visit. The price differences below are about WHAT you are buying, not WHERE you buy it.

Standard 1-Day Admission

One-day general admission to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on Merritt Island, Florida, including Space Shuttle Atlantis, the Shuttle Launch Experience, Heroes & Legends, the Rocket Garden, IMAX films, the standard bus tour to the Apollo/Saturn V Center, and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame. The Visitor Complex sits adjacent to Cape Canaveral, where SpaceX and NASA Artemis launches occur. This is the right ticket for most first-time visitors.

2-Day Admission

If you want to see everything without rushing, the 2-day ticket saves money compared to buying two separate 1-day tickets. The two visit days do not need to be consecutive.

Chat With an Astronaut Add-On

A small-group Q&A session with a real NASA astronaut, plus a continental breakfast or afternoon food sampling, one alcoholic drink per adult ticket, a commemorative gift, and a signed astronaut portrait. Per KSC.com, the experience runs approximately 45 minutes inside the Debus Conference Facility. Available as a 1-day or 2-day bundle.

KSC Explore Tour Add-On

A more in-depth, expert-led bus tour with multiple stops for up-close photo opportunities. Per KSC.com, the Explore Tour runs approximately 3 hours and includes photo stops at the Vehicle Assembly Building and the NASA Press Site, ending at the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Multiple tours offered daily. KSC notes that visitors do not need to take the standard bus tour in addition to the Explore Tour.

Katie’s Tip

Eligibility extends to educators from across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Additional promotions like Educator Appreciation Week may also offer savings throughout the year. Bring teaching credentials or school letterhead to redeem.

13. AAA Members

Compare Before Buying

AAA offers a discount on Kennedy Space Center tickets, with pricing that varies by region and changes periodically. When we last checked the Auto Club app, a 1-Day Kennedy Space Center ticket was listed at $64.95 plus tax. Confirm with your local AAA office before assuming the discount applies to you. Our authorized ticket site with the SAVEMORE promo code typically offers a similar or lower final total.

14. Sam’s Club, Costco, and Senior Discounts

Compare Before Buying

Sam’s Club Members

Sam’s Club currently sells the Adults at Kids Rate 1-Day Admission at $59.50 per adult for members, about $4.50 below our $64 with SAVEMORE. The member price requires signing in to a Sam’s Club account, and taxes and fees may apply at checkout. If you already have a Sam’s Club membership, this is a real savings worth checking for your party size before booking elsewhere. If you do not have a membership, our $64 SAVEMORE rate is visible without any sign-in and includes all taxes and fees.

Costco Members

Costco sells standalone Kennedy Space Center 1-day tickets at $64.99 for adults (ages 12+) with a lower child price for ages 3-11, delivered by email within about 24 hours. Costco limits you to 5 transactions and 5 units per membership every 14 days. The adult price is essentially a wash with our authorized partner site: promo code SAVEMORE lands the all-in price at $64 per adult, or $0.99 below Costco. If you are a Costco member, compare both for your specific party size before buying, especially if your group would push you near the 5-ticket cap.

AARP and Senior Discounts

We have not seen a dedicated AARP discount listed for Kennedy Space Center, and KSC does not publish a standalone senior price. Visitors searching for a senior discount usually do best on our authorized ticket site with the SAVEMORE promo code, which prices admission below most senior-targeted offers we have come across. Florida-resident grandparents traveling with the family should also check the Florida Resident Four-Pack above.

Important Tips for Visiting Kennedy Space Center

Download the App Before You Go

The official Kennedy Space Center app shows maps, daily schedules, and astronaut autograph sessions.

Know What to Expect Size-Wise

The Visitor Complex is bigger than most people expect. Plan for a full day, or split the visit across two days if you want to see everything without rushing.

Plan for Parking

Parking is $5 for motorcycles, $15 for standard vehicles, and $20 for RVs and oversized vehicles. Complimentary parking is included with annual passes.

Use the Mission Zones to Navigate

Kennedy Space Center is organized into Mission Zones grouped by chronological era. Use the Mission Zone map to plan your route from the dawn of space exploration through current NASA Artemis missions and ongoing SpaceX launches from neighboring Cape Canaveral.

Consider Add-Ons for a Deeper Experience

  • Chat With an Astronaut. Small-group Q&A with a real NASA astronaut, plus refreshments and keepsakes.
  • KSC Explore Tour. A more in-depth, expert-led bus tour with special photo stops.
  • AstroPass. A $19.99 digital photo package that collects all your attraction photos in one place for easy download and sharing.

Kennedy Space Center Discount Tickets FAQ

How much do Kennedy Space Center tickets cost in 2026?

The standard 1-day admission lists at $88.38 for adults at the KSC.com gate price, including tax and a convenience fee. During the Adults at Kids Rate promo (valid March 9 through December 18, 2026), adults pay the kids’ rate. On our authorized ticket partner site with promo code SAVEMORE, the all-in price drops to $64 per person.

Do you have to make reservations for Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex?

You can buy Kennedy Space Center tickets online or at the gate. If you purchase directly, you will choose a date to visit. Tickets purchased through our authorized partner site are good on any open date and do not require a separate reservation.

Do Kennedy Space Center tickets sell out?

It is a pretty big place, so while there is a maximum capacity, the Visitor Complex rarely sells out. Tours, however, do sell out, so if you are interested in a specific ticket add-on like Chat With an Astronaut or the KSC Explore Tour, purchase it as soon as possible.

Can I see an actual rocket launch?

You will get a heads-up about rocket launches and other special events if you are a member. Is Kennedy Space Center worth the price?

For most visitors, yes. General admission includes the bus tour, Space Shuttle Atlantis, the Shuttle Launch Experience, Heroes & Legends, the Rocket Garden, and more. Most families spend a full day and still do not see everything.

How long do you need at Kennedy Space Center?

Plan for a full day for a first visit. The bus tour alone takes 2 to 3 hours. Arrive as early as possible to make the most of your time.
