If you’re headed to Florida to visit SeaWorld Orlando, you might also want to visit its themed water park, Aquatica. Aquatica is a family-friendly destination with thrilling water rides, high-speed water slides, wave pools, and attractions inspired by marine life, like the dolphin plunge.

A family trip to Aquatica can be costly, so budgeting ahead of time is a great idea. While gate prices are available, you can save more by looking for discount Aquatica tickets online. Thankfully, there are a number of ways to save.

Gate Prices for Admission to Aquatica Orlando

You can view the gate price for Aquatica Orlando tickets on the official site, which frequently features exclusive offers and seasonal specials. If you walk up on the day you want to enter the theme park, then tickets will cost around $50 per person for guests aged 3 and older.

Children 2 and under can enter the park for free with a paying adult.

If you want to upgrade your ticket to include an all-day dining option, you’ll pay around $80 per person. Remember, ticket prices for Orlando theme parks can vary throughout the year, especially during peak season when greater demand drives rates up.

Another option for gate prices includes a package that includes single-day tickets to both Aquatica and SeaWorld Orlando. There are also multi-park passes that allow you to access the water park, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and Adventure Island within a 14-day period.

The gate prices for Aquatica Orlando tickets are:

  • Single Day Ticket: $117.44 each
  • All-day dining + Single-day Admission Tickets: $116.05 each
  • Choose Your Adventure – Two Visits: $230.04 each
  • Choose Your Adventure – Two Visits With All-Day Dining: $270.68

Important Tips for Visiting Aquatica Orlando

Aquatica offers family fun for guests of all ages. Although the park is known for its thrilling water rides, there is so much more to discover. Little kids can visit splash pads and kid-friendly rides, and there are also many animal exhibits to explore, like underwater observation halls to see the dolphins.

Make sure that you pack all your water park essentials, like swimwear, a fresh change of clothes in case they get wet, goggles, water shoes, and beach towels. You can also bring bottled water or a refillable water bottle into the park.

All guests under 48 inches (4 feet) tall must wear a life vest on most of the attractions. The park will provide United States Post Guard (USPG)-approved life vests; personal ones are permitted as long as they’re USPG-standard. Guests can wear Type II, III, and V at Aquatica, but flotation devices, pool noodles, boogie boards, and swimmies are not permitted.

As for what types of shoes to wear to Aquatica, the park allows water shoes, sandals, and water socks on certain rides, but they are not allowed on others. It may be a good idea to bring along an extra pair of sneakers in your bag just in case you need to change.

Babies and children who wear diapers must have waterproof protectors or swim diapers before they can enter water attractions.

I suggest looking into the all-day locker rentals available throughout the park so you can easily store your stuff and enjoy the attractions without lugging around heavy bags all day.

Aquatica offers various events throughout the year, depending on the season, like summer beach night movies, festivals, and special events. It’s a good idea to look at their event calendar and see what’s going on during your visit so you can make the most out of your experience.
