Our booking tool (it is called TravelWits) lets you search, compare, and book luxury hotels yourself, anytime, with our VIP program rates and amenities already attached. You get the same inclusions you would receive if a member of our team booked for you, and we are notified the moment you book.
If you have used American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, this will feel familiar. The difference is breadth: instead of one program, the tool surfaces our rates across Virtuoso and 30+ hotel VIP programs (Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Hyatt Privé, Mandarin Oriental Fan Club, and more), usually at the same price as booking direct.

Booking here works just like booking on a hotel’s own site, so a couple of quick pointers keep it easy.
Worth knowing
- Pick the rate that fits your plans. You will usually see a flexible (refundable) rate and a lower non-refundable one. If your dates are not firm, go flexible, non-refundable rates cannot be changed or refunded.
- The guest count is adults. A few hotels count children as adults from age 12 (Shangri-La in Hong Kong, for one). When in doubt, check the hotel’s occupancy or just ask us.
- All-inclusive resort? Let us book it. Those price by each child’s age, so email us and we will make sure everyone is counted correctly.
- Not sure about anything? Ask first. A quick message before you confirm is always easier than a fix after.

What if I need to cancel or change my stay?
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. To cancel or change a refundable booking, click “View Trip” at the bottom of that email. It opens your booking details in your browser, with an option to cancel there. We can also cancel for you. Non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled or refunded, so check a rate’s terms before you confirm.
Where do I add my kids?
The guest count is for adults. At some hotels (Shangri-La in Hong Kong, for example) children count as adults from age 12. Two adults with a 12-year-old is three guests; two adults with a five-year-old is two. It is easiest to check the exact age and occupancy rules on the hotel’s website, or email us. For all-inclusive resorts, please contact us so each child is priced correctly by age.
Virtuoso or Cadence Preferred, which do I book?
If prices are the same, book Cadence Preferred first. It surfaces each hotel’s own VIP program (Hyatt Privé, Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Fan Club at Mandarin Oriental, and others), and hotels usually take extra care of guests booked through their own program. Virtuoso is the next best option if a hotel does not have a preferred program. Once in a while a hotel runs a promotion that is exclusive to Virtuoso. If you see a better Virtuoso rate, book Virtuoso.
Is it free to use the booking tool?
Yes. The tool is free to use, and you get our team working behind the scenes to support your trip.
How do I book more than one room?
Just set the number of rooms when you search, the tool takes it from there. If you would rather we set up a group or keep your rooms linked, send us the details and we will handle it.
I have received my confirmation email. Am I all set?
Yes. Once you have a confirmation from TravelWits, the hotel has your booking and so do we. We will check it and follow up to collect your arrival details within about 24 business hours.
Can I use the tool if I have never booked with you before?
Yes, and welcome. We are glad to have you experience the benefits of booking through hotel VIP programs.
