New York City’s frenetic energy, cultural diversity, and abundance of attractions will keep you busy from the moment you arrive to the minute you say goodbye. Where else on earth can you get authentic Laotian, Colombian, and Thai cuisine, day or night? Or experience all the best parts of one destination just by hopping on a train? And be able to entertain kids of nearly all ages and interests from Eloise at The Plaza to shows in Times Square to riding bikes through Central Park.


You should definitely experience the touristy side of NYC at least once in your life but it’s really the neighborhoods outside of Midtown that will win you over. I’m a fan of Soho, Chinatown and East Village where I’ve spent a lot of time recently (stay tuned for more hotel reviews and info).
