Important Tips for Visiting Aquatica Orlando

Aquatica offers family fun for guests of all ages. Although the park is known for its thrilling water rides, there is so much more to discover. Little kids can visit splash pads and kid-friendly rides, and there are also many animal exhibits to explore, like underwater observation halls to see the dolphins.

Make sure that you pack all your water park essentials, like swimwear, a fresh change of clothes in case they get wet, goggles, water shoes, and beach towels. You can also bring bottled water or a refillable water bottle into the park.

All guests under 48 inches (4 feet) tall must wear a life vest on most of the attractions. The park will provide United States Post Guard (USPG)-approved life vests; personal ones are permitted as long as they’re USPG-standard. Guests can wear Type II, III, and V at Aquatica, but flotation devices, pool noodles, boogie boards, and swimmies are not permitted.

As for what types of shoes to wear to Aquatica, the park allows water shoes, sandals, and water socks on certain rides, but they are not allowed on others. It may be a good idea to bring along an extra pair of sneakers in your bag just in case you need to change.

Babies and children who wear diapers must have waterproof protectors or swim diapers before they can enter water attractions.

I suggest looking into the all-day locker rentals available throughout the park so you can easily store your stuff and enjoy the attractions without lugging around heavy bags all day.

Aquatica offers various events throughout the year, depending on the season, like summer beach night movies, festivals, and special events. It’s a good idea to look at their event calendar and see what’s going on during your visit so you can make the most out of your experience.
