Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is hands-down one of my favorite hotels in the world. The first and flagship property in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group just celebrated its 50th anniversary and still serves as a place to see and be seen, enjoy afternoon tea, dine, stay over on business, enjoy a luxury family vacation, of course, shop in many fine boutiques in the hotel and nearby Prince’s Building.

One nearby boutiques happens to be Chloé, the premier fashion brand founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion. Young Hollywood stars Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Portman and Lou Doillon wear Chloé’s elegant, ultra-feminine clothing and carry the recognizable, stunning handbags.

Fashionistas considering a visit to Hong Kong… the time to go is now. With its commitment to the arts, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is presenting a unique exhibition throughout the summer of artworks curated from Chloé’s archive, to be displayed in the Clipper Lounge. The Chloé Moments Exhibition will showcase the rise of the luxury French fashion Maison Chloé, a crucible of creativity for fashion’s most notable designers dressing women throughout the decades.

I am not sure if we’re planning our annual Hong Kong trip in August or during Chinese New Year, but if in the summer, we will definitely stay at the hotel, have tea and enjoy the exhibition! My 7-year-old loves staying here, too.
