There is exciting news out of the Golden Door for San Diegans. Starting today, the public can purchase the famous destination spa’s fabulous organic-only produce at a new Farm Stand. And, they’re kicking things off with a family-friendly grand opening celebration.
This is a fantastic way to capture a glimpse of why the Golden Door is truly a special place. After my stay there earlier in the year, I completely understand why Travel + Leisure magazine gave it the distinguished title of the “World’s Best Destination Spa”. I, like the other guests, enjoyed a personalized fitness and nutrition plan, meditation and inner focus guidance, a daily private in-room massage, nature-based skin care, farm-to-table cuisine and much, much more. A stay here can change your life.
Nourishment is required to regain your physical or spiritual center and the Golden Door’s Executive Chef Greg Frey, Jr. is the best at creating healthy and craveable menus. Walking the orchards, greenhouses, gardens and even the chicken coop with him was definitely a highlight of my stay. Yes, they grow organic produce. But the team at Golden Door is passionate about doing it in an environmentally-sensitive manner while cultivating plants that actually taste amazing.
And, I felt amazing when I checked out of Golden Door.
Farm Stand Proceeds Go to Charity
The Farm Stand is a chance for the community to enjoy delicious, locally grown produce and be a part of the Golden Door mission—100% of proceeds from all Farm Stand purchases will be donated to help children of abuse. Golden Door is a 100% giving company. All proceeds from the resort and its products go to charities. How amazing is this?
