My Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills review is based on multiple stays throughout the years. I check in here the most when I’m in L.A. I like the hotel’s residential style and chic California vibe mixed with Hollywood glamour, so I often feel more relaxed here than at nearby luxury properties.

I find that other people choose it for the same reasons. You’ll see a mix of travelers—business guests, celebrities, and families like mine. Here’s everything you need to know before you book, including how to access our Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities.

Your Access to Our Exclusive Benefits and VIP Status

Through me, you have access to Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits at no extra cost to you that include:

  • A $100 hotel credit for rooms and a $200 hotel credit for suites.

Rooms and Suites I’ve Stayed In

I’ve stayed in balcony rooms, studios suites, and one-bedroom suites. They’re all great so I don’t tend to get too picky about which room to choose. What I book basically depends on if my daughter has a friend with us and how much time I’ll spend in the hotel. (I like having the balcony but don’t use it here.)

Balcony Rooms

Superior Balcony Room: 380 sq.ft., king bed only, sleeps 3 people with a rollaway or crib. Views are of the front entrance and Beverly Hills. Located on floors 2-11.

Deluxe Balcony Room: 380 sq. ft, king bed (sleeps 3 with a rollaway) or two twin beds (sleeps 2, no rollaway allowed). A crib is okay in either. Views are of Beverly Hills, city, or gardens. Located on floors 2-15.

The size and decor of the Superior and Deluxe Balcony rooms is the same. It’s just the location and view that can be different. Deluxe rooms have a twin bed option and can be located on the top floors.

Premier Balcony Room: 403 sq. ft., king bed only, sleeps up to 3 with a rollaway or crib. These are corner rooms located throughout the hotel and have wrap-around balconies. Views are of Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, or Beverly Hills.

Studio Suites

These are my favorite headboards (Don Riddle/Four Seasons).

Studio Suite: 430 sq.ft., king bed (sleeps up to 3 with rollaway or crib). Located on floors 2-15. Has a walk-in closet and a small sofa seating area. It’s a one-room suite without separation between the living room and bedroom. But I think it’s nice to have the seating area and more space!

One-Bedroom Suites

The one-bedroom suites at the Four Seasons Los Angeles have separate living and working areas from the bedrooms. French doors open up to panoramic views of Los Angeles from a private balcony.

One-Bedroom Suite: 860 sq.ft., king bed with sofa bed and crib or two rollaways to sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. You get two full bathrooms and a larger balcony.

Most of the families that we book here typically choose a one-bedroom suite. It has enough space and more solid doors between the living room and bedroom.

Hollywood Suite: 630 sq.ft., king bed with sofa bed and crib or two rollaways to sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Even though this suite is smaller, it’s higher priced than the One-Bedroom Suite because of the views. I have stayed in this suite with French doors separating the bedroom from the living room. These are thinner than standard doors (with glass), so you still need to take care to be quiet. There’s no view from the bedroom.

California Suite: 630 sq.ft., king bed with sofa bed and crib or two rollaways to sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. This suite has big windows, two step-out balconies, a spacious bathroom, and airy decor inspired by California style. It also has the thinner French doors.

Wellness Suite: 630 sq.ft., comes with one king (sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children with a sofa bed and rollaway or crib) or two twin beds (sleeps 2 people). It’s on the 4th floor Wellness Floor which I have more details on below.

Premiere Suite Experience

When you stay in these suites, you will receive top-of-the-line service that includes a personal attendant.

You’ll experience the royal treatment in these penthouse-style suites with spacious living and dining rooms, private balconies, and an elegant marble foyer accented by a stylish California contemporary interior.

  • Doheny Suite: 880 sq.ft., three adults or two adults and two children occupancy. Upper-floor views, a wraparound balcony, and lots of natural light make this suite a standout.
  • Director Suite: 1,260 sq.ft., four adults, or two adults and two children. Stunning Hollywood Hills views. It’s great for entertaining or family stays.
  • Grand Doheny Suite: 1,250 sq.ft., four adults, or two adults and two children. Features three balconies, a dining table, and gorgeous views for hosting or relaxing.
  • Royal Two-Bedroom Suite: 1,809 sq.ft., 6 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children, Great for larger families, with balconies, a marble foyer, and a powder room.
  • Presidential Suite East: 2,605 sq.ft., 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. Six balconies, a steam shower, and tons of space make this a luxury retreat.
  • Presidential Two-Bedroom Suite West: 2,398 sq.ft., 6 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children. Spacious with a marble foyer and views of Beverly Hills. Perfect for hosting or large groups.

Delicious Four Seasons Los Angeles Dining

Dining at the Four Seasons means choosing from several dining options during your stay, including Culina Restaurant, Cabana Restaurant, and Windows Lounge.

The hotel’s Executive Chef has led culinary teams from LA to New York City to London. The cooking style at the hotel is founded on a transformation of fresh ingredients into colorful mosaics of exquisite cuisine.

Culina

Poached eggs, steamed asparagus, and other vegetables on a plate at Culina as part of a healthy breakfast spread.
Love healthy breakfasts at Culina (a Four Seasons Preferred Partner perk)

Culina refers to the smoky vault where Romans produced their food. Culina’s rich, dark tones in the Four Seasons Los Angeles certainly recreate the atmosphere, making this an ideal place for a romantic Italian meal with mood lighting.

The award-winning eatery serves authentic Italian cuisine with an inventive twist for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We’ve eaten here for all three meals and particularly love the healthy options at breakfast and semi-crudo at dinner.

Cabana Restaurant

At Cabana, you’ll enjoy the best that California has to offer, from locally sourced seafood to antioxidant-rich produce. Outdoor seating allows one to enjoy the fresh California air beside manicured gardens. It’s adjacent to the pool.

The Lounge

Cap your evening at The Lounge with light bites, specialty cocktails, and an extensive wine list. You can also enjoy live entertainment on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Culina Caffè

You can start your morning with a perfect coffee and gourmet pastries at Culina Caffè. Later, unwind with Cin Cin Hour, featuring discounted bar bites and refreshing spritzes and cocktails. This is basically the bar area adjacent to Culina.

In-Room Dining

Delicious room service from a recent stay.

You can indulge in private dining and order in-room service all day during your stay. The Four Seasons kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with special children’s breakfast, snacks, and hors d’oeuvres menus.

This hotel has always been great with customizing room service for kids.

Four Seasons Private Meetings and Events

The Four Seasons Los Angeles has various options to host memorable events, banquets, and private dining. The large, 4,200-square-foot ballroom seats up to 100 guests.

Meanwhile, the outdoor banquet has a capacity for 200 guests. The hotel also has a private dining room available for events of up to 40 people.

Glamorous Outdoor Pool Deck

See why Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is one of our favorite places to stay.
We love this pool deck (Photo credit: Christopher Horan/Four Seasons)

Nothing says Hollywood like quite sitting by the heated outdoor swimming pool soaking up the California sunshine. The Four Seasons Los Angeles has a saline pool on the fourth-floor terrace with an elevated whirlpool.

Cabanas and citrus trees (mixed with succulents and other plants, which we love) create an urban oasis with views of the surrounding city. I modeled my backyard redesign after some container plants on this pool deck!

The hotel regulates water temperatures between 79 and 81º F. Poolside cabanas offer privacy and a break from the heat between dips in the pool. The Four Seasons also offers customized poolside packages with add-ons like craft cocktails, Barton Perreira sunglasses, and poolside spa treatments.

Stay hydrated with fresh-pressed juices or cool down with ice cream, served daily. I love this pool deck. There’s also a jacuzzi.

Spa and Wellness to Enjoy

Amidst a bustling LA vacation, you can experience full-body relaxation at the Spa and Wellness Center.

Looking for a place to relax or recharge? The Spa at Four Seasons Los Angeles has world-class facilities designed to help you unwind and feel your best. Open daily, the spa offers blissful massages, body treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures, and salon services.

My daughter’s first real spa treatment was here. We try to go every time we check-in. Here’s a sample of what you can enjoy:

  • Spa Services: From soothing massages and body treatments to rejuvenating facials, you’ll find something to suit your mood.
  • Fitness Center: Located on the fourth-floor pool terrace, the open-air gym is available 24/7, and personal trainers can be arranged.

Open-Air Fitness Center

While staying at the Four Seasons, you can work out with a view while hitting the treadmills in the open-air venue. Don’t worry, it can be closed off and heated in the rare case of inclement weather.

Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills also offers in-room fitness programs developed by Blue Clay Fitness that guests can access through the room or suite’s iPad 2.

Helipad Yoga Above the City

Escape from the stress of a daily routine with a once-in-a-lifetime yoga experience located on the hotel’s 17th-floor helipad.

While holding a downward-facing dog or an Acro yoga posture, you’ll take in breathtaking bird’s-eye views of Los Angeles, the Hollywood sign, downtown Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and the towers of Century City.

Book private sessions as well as group classes for up to 25 people.

Fun Family Offerings

I personally find staying at Four Seasons Los Angeles pretty easy with kids in tow.

A chocolate Hollywood sign welcome amenity that was prepared for kids.
Chocolate Hollywood sign, one of the many neat amenities my daughter has received over the years.

Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills ensures fun for all ages during your stay. The hotel’s concierge service is happy to arrange special family outings or reserve a babysitter for couples who want a little alone time together.

The hotel provides:

  • Welcome amenities for kids
  • Baby bath toys
  • Cribs or rollaway beds
  • Child-sized bathrobes and slippers
  • Complimentary coloring books
  • Kids’ menus in the restaurants and in-room dining — the hotel is excellent at catering to picky eaters in my experience.

The house car also goes to The Grove shopping mall. We have paired a stay here with American Girl Los Angeles visits many times. And many dolls have checked in with us over the years.

Private Movie Night at Four Seasons Hotel

Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills also offers a Private Movie Night, which provides an exclusive screening experience:

You and your family can enjoy a movie of your choice in the hotel’s private screening room. The experience includes snacks, champagne, and the comfort of a luxurious private theater—perfect for special occasions or intimate gatherings.

  • In the app you’ll be able to view your full itinerary.
  • The concierge team is also super helpful. You can call the hotel to be connected to them or message them through the app.

The Adjacent Beverly Hills/Los Angeles Neighborhoods

It’s a nice residential location (Don Riddle/Four Seasons).

Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is in a quiet residential neighborhood midway between downtown and the beach. Its ideal location and privacy make it a long-time favorite of celebrities, especially during awards season.

Within roughly a mile radius of the hotel, you will find local attractions like Roberson Boulevard, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Gardens Park, and famous restaurants such as The Ivy and SUR Lounge.

The house car can take you further afield to LACMA and other attractions, subject to availability. I also have a big list of popular kids’ activities in Los Angeles.
