What Is Hilton for Luxury?
Hilton’s own VIP program for travel advisors is called Hilton for Luxury, and it covers five luxury brands: Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, LXR, NoMad, and Signia by Hilton. Your stay earns double Hilton Honors points and comes with breakfast for two, a hotel credit, and VIP status. We don’t charge a service fee to book it.
It is, in effect, a direct booking with the benefits attached. The hotel holds the reservation and charges your card, and my agency is listed on it. When you book in my tool, the software sends your card details straight to the hotel. We never see them.

What Are the Benefits of Booking Through Hilton for Luxury?
Hilton publishes one set of benefits for the program:
- Daily breakfast for two guests.
- A hotel credit, once per stay.
- Double Hilton Honors points on the stay.
- VIP guest status on the reservation.
- An upgrade to the next room category, subject to availability.
- Early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability.
- Last room availability, so the program rate can book any room the hotel still has to sell.
At Shore House and Beach Village, The Del adds its own benefits on top, as the Del section below explains.

Is Hilton for Luxury Worth Booking?
Yes. Whatever your Hilton Honors status, this is how I recommend booking Hilton’s luxury hotels, because Hilton for Luxury is Hilton’s own VIP program. Your status stays on the reservation, the program’s benefits come with it, and the stay earns double points.
A credit card’s hotel program is a different thing. No one there knows you or the people inside the hotel, and hotels look after their own program’s guests first.
Hilton for Luxury books Hilton’s best available rate. Hilton sometimes runs a sale that comes in lower. A sale rate earns regular points instead of double, and whether it includes breakfast or a credit varies by sale. We can book any Hilton rate, sales included, so we tell you which one is the better value for your dates.

Hotel del Coronado
Beach Village, Shore House, and Crown Club: How the Benefits Stack at The Del
Shore House and Beach Village sit inside Hotel del Coronado, and both belong to Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts brand, so Hilton books each one as its own hotel. The main resort is Curio Collection by Hilton, which is not part of Hilton for Luxury, so we book it on Virtuoso.
Crown Club is The Del’s VIP program for a select group of travel agencies, and I am a member. On a Hilton for Luxury booking at Shore House or Beach Village, Crown Club sits on top of Hilton’s benefits. You check in as a Crown Club VIP, and the program’s hotel credit becomes a larger resort credit sized to your room or villa.

You will not find the Crown Club benefits when you search Hilton for Luxury rates yourself. I add them when you book with us, and guest relations works to place Crown Club guests in the best rooms available on the day they arrive.

Other Hilton for Luxury Hotels: Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR
Crown Club belongs to The Del, so at the other Hilton for Luxury hotels a booking carries Hilton’s program benefits without it. Grand Wailea, which I book on the program, shows the difference.
Grand Wailea: The Same Program, Without Crown Club
Grand Wailea is a sprawling Waldorf Astoria resort on Maui with views of Wailea Beach, and it is family-friendly, with a teen center and day camp facilities. The Wailea Canyon Activity Pool is nine pools on six levels, with waterslides and a lazy river, and the adults-only Hibiscus Serenity Pool has two Jacuzzis for a more relaxed swim.
A Hilton for Luxury booking here carries Hilton’s benefits on their own: breakfast for two, the hotel credit, double Hilton Honors points, and an upgrade to the next room category when one is available. That upgrade applies here, while Shore House and Beach Village leave it out.

This beachfront resort sits on a hillside above the Pacific, about an hour south of Los Angeles. I have stayed here.

Reached through a private tunnel at the base of Pedregal Mountain, it is the luxury resort closest to downtown Cabo San Lucas. Every guest room has a private plunge pool and a fireplace.

Program Basics
Is there a Hilton for Luxury login, and can I join it myself?
Not as a guest. Hilton for Luxury is a program for travel advisors, so there is nothing for you to join. You get the benefits by booking through an advisor in the program.
Is Hilton for Luxury the same as Hilton Impresario?
Yes. Hilton for Luxury is the program’s current name, and the old Impresario web address on hilton.com now forwards to the Hilton for Luxury page.
Do I still earn Hilton Honors points?
Yes, and double the usual amount. Add your Hilton Honors number when you book in my tool, or send it to us with your dates, and make sure it is attached at check-in, because points are difficult to credit after the stay.
Can I use Hilton Honors points to book Hilton for Luxury?
You can book a points stay at these hotels, but a points booking does not include the Hilton for Luxury benefits, such as breakfast and the hotel credit. Those come with a paid reservation booked through an advisor.
Status and Other Programs
Should I book Hilton for Luxury or Virtuoso at The Del?
At Shore House and Beach Village, book Hilton for Luxury. The Crown Club benefits are the same on either rate, and Hilton for Luxury earns double Hilton Honors points where Virtuoso earns the regular amount. The main Hotel del Coronado resort books on Virtuoso.
Can I keep my credit card points?
Yes. You pay the hotel with your own card, so you earn your card’s points as usual, and the Hilton for Luxury benefits come with the stay. You do not give up one to get the other.
During Your Stay
Is the room upgrade confirmed when I book?
No. The upgrade is to the next room category and depends on what the hotel has available. Upgrades are not part of the benefits at Shore House or Beach Village.
How does the resort credit work at The Del?
On a Shore House or Beach Village booking, the Crown Club resort credit is a one-time credit for the stay, sized to your room or villa. It works at the resort’s restaurants and on resort activities you book online, but not on the room rate or parking, so plan to use it. If you booked more than one room, your server can split the check so each credit applies.
