Six Flags Magic Mountain discount tickets can normally be purchased in several ways through authorized sellers, so you don’t have to pay gate prices.
These options are temporarily more limited after the park’s initial reopening. I’ve mentioned where not to look for deals so that you don’t waste time on promo codes, coupons, and normally cheaper offers that are not available (but should return in the future).
You’ll also learn about current admission options offered at steep price cuts, which may lure you into visiting the park for a day if you are sightseeing in greater LA or live nearby.
You can save on tickets, tours, and hotels through my affiliations. If you make purchases through the links in this post, I may be compensated.
Six Flags Magic Mountain Tickets — Three Types
Six Flags Magic Mountain currently offers three types of tickets: Single Day Tickets, Season Passes (through the end of the calendar year), and Memberships (an initial 12-month commitment, cancelable thereafter at any time).
At-the-gate ticket pricing for a daily ticket is normally 89.99 for General Admission, $59.99 for children under 48” tall, and is free for children 2 and under.
However, the current one-day pricing is $45 for non-peak and $65 for peak days for ages 3 and older!
Six Flags Magic Mountain offers a number of Season Passes as well. Season passes (unlimited admission through the end of the calendar year of purchase) may be the best option for those who intend only to visit the park more than once during the current calendar year, but perhaps not again in the following calendar year.
Seasons Passes do not come with discounts and benefits on select other a la carte options and purchases throughout the park.
